Thanks to the generous funding provided by the National Lottery, we can offer free and confidential support to parents and children through home visits. Our trained staff and volunteers offer practical and emotional assistance to help with the challenges of parenting a young family. We strive to empower parents to feel more confident in their parenting skills and better equipped to handle their responsibilities. Our services are always optional, and families can choose to end support at any time.
In addition to providing in-home assistance, our funding allows us to run a ‘Me Time’ drop-in group held at Hollinswood Neighbourhood Centre, an opportunity for Mums to focus on their emotional wellbeing and get together and have some ‘Me Time’ while their child has fun with other children through play and different activities (offered by the creche that is available free of charge). Sessions include crafts, pampering, relaxation, and peer support.
